Dr. Arnd Nenstiel was appointed as Global Head of Agricultural Policy & Stakeholder Affairs at Bayer’s Crop Science division on 1st May, 2015.

 

Arnd obtained his university degree in Essen, Germany, at the University of Applied Sciences and, subsequently, received a Master of Business Administration degree from IE Business School in Spain and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Münster, Germany. He also holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics by the University of Rostock, Germany.

 

Arnd started his career at Bayer’s Crop Science division in 2003 as a Global Product Manager Insecticide. Subsequently, he spent 5 years in the region Asia Pacific from 2004 to 2009, first as Management Support and in charge of Corporate Communications in the company’s regional office in Singapore and after that as Country Division Head of Bayer’s Crop Science division in Vietnam. After returning to his home country Germany, he was in charge of the global Customer Relationship Management activities of the Crop Science division until early 2015.

 

During his spare time, Arnd works as a voluntary paramedic and lectures on Marketing, Sales and Distribution topics at Essen University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
