Aintzane Esturo has 25 years-experience in management in the food industry. She is Technical Manager at SGF International (Germany), industrial association that certifies fruit juice authenticity and quality in more than 60 countries. Previously she was the Secretary General of the European Quality Control System EQCS (Belgium), voluntary control system for fruit juices and Senior Project Manager at the research institute AZTI-Tecnalia (Spain), coordinating international projects and communicating results in various national and international forums.
She has worked for the European Commission as independent expert in project proposal evaluations for the Directorate General Environment; the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI), Eco-Innovation Pilot and Market Replication Projects and the Directorate General Research. She also worked for international companies as Pespico, as Quality Manager at the snack plant in Spain. She participates in various food and sustainability expert groups. She holds a BSc in Microbiology (Spain), MSc in Food Technology, (United Kingdom), and the PMP Certification (U.S.A.).
The CfP will allow processors to have food safety certified raw materials covering the GAP and Sustainability requirements and thus providing a certifiable scheme. The CfP Standard will contribute in strengthening the working relationship between producers and processors.
