Sascha Wüstenhöfer joined the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification System (ISCC) in 2011. He holds a diploma in German and European Business Law from the University of Siegen. His interdisciplinary study was focused on environmental law, environmental economics and management. Within ISCC Mr Wüstenhöfer is responsible for stakeholder management and communication with System Users, Certification Bodies, EU authorities, and other stakeholders. He is responsible for the day-to-day development and improvement of the system with a special focus on the certification of waste and residue feedstocks, compliance and integrity management, and the management of ISCC’s operations. Through his involvement in the ISCC Integrity Program, Mr Wüstenhöfer gained extended knowledge on supply chains for sustainable biomass.
